The Welsh Development Agency needed a tool to help communicate; web strategy, corporate identity, online content and design guidelines and the publishing process for sites created by the agency. All Welsh Development Agency personnel that contribute web content required this information, in addition to the framework of external suppliers contracted to create sites.
MarketingNet recommended and developed an Electronic Corporate Identity for the Welsh Development Agency.
The Electronic Corporate Identity (ECI) is a dynamic on-line resource containing guidelines for
web development and representation of the brand.
It is user intuitive and will be available to internal audiences and selected external suppliers.
The ECI aims to protect the Welsh Development Agency from publishing inappropriate content online
and reduce the publishing cycle time. MarketingNet provided creative design, copywriting, our own
intellectual property and web development skills to create the online corporate identity.

The Welsh Development Agency is now free to make any future content additions as the ECI has been
created within a content management system. This is an excellent approach as it ensures that the
